Repair Services
- Assess the damage: We inspect the rug to determine the type and extent of the damage. Common damages include holes, tears, fraying edges, worn-out areas, and discoloration.
- Determine the appropriate repair method: The type of repair needed will depend on the type of rug, the extent of the damage, and the materials used in the rug's construction.
Repair holes and tears: Holes and tears can be repaired by reweaving or patching the damaged area. Our professional staff can match the color, pattern, and texture of the rug to ensure a seamless repair.
Fix fraying edges: Frayed edges can be repaired by overcasting or binding the edges. This will prevent further fraying and give the rug a finished look again.
- Restore worn-out areas: Worn-out areas can be restored by re-knotting the pile and replacing any missing fibers, or sometimes this can be done by redyeing the worn-out areas. This will help to restore the rug's original look and feel
